 Lets get into some behind the scenes info on the Capelets. Splendid Fairy Wren Capelets were woven in a small batch run using my 100% plant based exotic fiber blends. These capelets are made with sustainability in mind.  Each one is woven with a medium weight tencel paired with a uniqure blend of tencel with cotton/hemp , seacell,rose, hemp, or dandelion!    I hand paint and dye tencel yarn, made from eucalyptus trees,  which is one of the most environmentally friendly and sustainable yarns out there! They have a wonderful drape and are luxuriously soft. The pattern I designed for the Splendid Fairy Wren Capelet had to be something that had a fun play on shapes with curves in it....

If you asked me at the beginning of the year if I was going to do my first photoshoot of my new collection, I would have said yes. If you told me I would do it in PARIS I would have laughed in your face. I was so wrong.
